Kelly Campbell, founder and CEO of Campbell Wealth Management, is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Chartered Financial Consultant, Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor, Accredited Investment Fiduciary with 21 years of financial planning experience, and author.
Kelly is a well-known, highly regarded expert in individual financial planning, retirement planning, cash flow analysis, asset allocation, money manager strategies, tax review, and estate planning. Additionally, Kelly is a member of the INOVA Health System Foundation board, as well as the Executive Alliance Group for CEOs. While Kelly enjoys boating and running marathons in his spare time, his greatest pleasure is returning home to Mason Neck after a hard day’s work, to be greeted by his wife and three children.
Kelly provides strategic direction for the firm, and is the public face of Campbell Wealth.
An integral part of Campbell Wealth Management since its inception, Kim is Kelly’s wife and business partner. Kim has over 20 years of financial experience. After graduating from University of Maryland, Kim joined the public accounting firm of Deloitte and Touche in Washington DC. She then continued her experience by running the financial department of a publicly traded company. Kelly and Kim married in 1997, at which time Kim spent her time providing financial and business consulting to several small companies. While not working on the financial aspects of Campbell Wealth, Kim is busy raising their three children, Connor, Carter and Codie. Kim’s passions are horseback riding and golfing, and spending time with her extended family.
Kim helps define the strategic direction of the firm and oversees the accounting function.
With more than 15 years of experience in managing investments for high net worth and large institutional clients, Glenn has succeeded in many roles across the financial industry. Having earned the distinguished Chartered Financial Analyst™ (CFA) designation, Glenn has achieved the industry’s most respected designation for investment management professionals. Glenn’s career started at the global investment firm Legg Mason as a stock analyst. During his career, he easily moved into and excelled in roles such as the director of research and as portfolio manager at a $1.3 billion investment firm. Through his diverse client experience, Glenn has refined his expertise in evaluating investments across asset classes and managing allocations for a variety of account sizes.
Additionally, Glenn is a recognized contributor to the investment media and has been highly sought after for his proficient knowledge on investment issues. Over the years, Glenn has regularly appeared on CNBC and CNN and has been widely quoted in well-known publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Kiplinger’s Personal Finance, BusinessWeek and the New York Times. Glenn received his B.S.B.A. in International Finance from American University and MBA from Johns Hopkins University.
When not at work, Glenn enjoys fishing and the outdoors with his two children Ryan and Elise.
Glenn is responsible for all aspects of our clients’ portfolio management, which includes research, investment selection, asset allocation and trading. In addition, Glenn has an active role in meeting with our clients to help determine the appropriate portfolio guidelines for their broader financial plan.
Rich Clement, a graduate of the University of Virginia, is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ with more than two decades of experience in the financial services industry. Over the years, he has assisted hundreds of clients by helping them identify their goals and objectives and encouraging them to take action to achieve those goals. He knows what works and what doesn’t work when it comes to achieving financial security and Independence. He firmly believes that financial success starts with a realistic vision combined with consistent action – regular communication and advisor consultation will keep everything on the right track.
Rich is the son of a U.S. Army officer and traveled the world before settling in the Alexandria area and eventually marrying his high school sweetheart. They have four children, ages 17 to 26, and have thoroughly enjoyed the hours and miles spent in support of their children’s activities. Now that driving duties are complete, Richard enjoys spending time with his wife Laura, training for the Army 10 Miler in October and exercising through the CrossFit fitness program.
Rich is responsible for client services and reviews and also works closely to administer the Wealth Mapping™ process for our clients.
Since beginning her career in financial planning over ten years ago, Lisa has worked with a broad scope of clients managing a full spectrum of financial planning issues – ranging from current finances and risk management to investment management, retirement planning and estate planning.
Graduating among the top third of her class, Lisa received her MBA from Brigham Young University and her undergraduate degree in mass communication/advertising from the University of Utah. Lisa’s career in the financial services industry began at Ameriprise Financial, formerly American Express Financial Advisors. Lisa purposefully chose Ameriprise because of its focus on comprehensive financial planning – and she brings that holistic approach and in-depth experience to our Campbell Wealth Management clients. Lisa especially enjoys working with clients age 55+ and has a designation focused on retirement planning, Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®).
Prior to working in the financial planning industry, Lisa helped businesses achieve their marketing and sales goals. As a client development director and marketing manager on both the agency and corporate side of business, Lisa was exposed to and learned about multiple industries including financial services, candy manufacturing, mass transit and outsourced call center customer service. Although her client interfacing has shifted from companies to individuals preparing for and enjoying retirement, Lisa’s passion for goal achievement remains the same.
Lisa has traveled throughout the world, but is relatively new to the east coast. Regardless of the geography, she enjoys walking, hiking and enjoying the great outdoors. Since moving to Virginia, she is taking in all that it has to offer, visiting new sites with her two dogs Maddie and Ollie.
As a member of the client services team, Lisa is responsible for meeting with our clients’ during their review meetings, understanding their financial goals and objectives, updating their financial plans, and making sure they have the information they need in regards to any aspect of their financial situation or relationship with Campbell Wealth Management.
Betsy has over 25 years of experience in client service and administration. For the last 5 years Betsy’s focus has been in the financial services industry. Betsy earned a degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
As a military spouse she has lived and worked in Denver, California, Hawaii, China and now lives in Maryland with her husband and two sons. Betsy enjoys travelling, reading a good book, gardening, cooking and spending time with friends and family.
Betsy helps clients make sense of complicated financial paperwork and spearheads their transition to Campbell Wealth. Change can be a bit scary for a new client so she closely monitors the safe transfer of client’s accounts and is ready to answer any questions that may arise.
Mark has 20 years of investment management experience working with high net worth and institutional investment clients. Mark holds the Chartered Financial Analyst ™ (CFA) designation, the industry’s most respected designation for investment management professionals. He has held positions as a Research Analyst, Director of Research and Portfolio Manager. These positions include experience with several large bank trust investment divisions including National City Bank, Fifth Third Bank, and Wintrust Financial, as well as a leading mutual fund company, Liberty Funds Group, and an ultra-high net worth family office, Bass Brother Trading. Mark has also worked as a Client Advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors and Merrill Lynch. Through his experience, Mark has refined his skills in constructing investment portfolios appropriate to client goals and risk tolerances.
Mark is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting and Finance, and a Master of Science (MS) in Finance. While outside of the office, Mark enjoys spending time with his seven year old children, Nathan and Lauren, and wife Kathy.
Mark is a member of Campbell Wealth’s investment management team and responsible for the strategic aspects of our clients’ portfolio management, including research, investment selection, asset allocation and trading. In addition, Mark has an active role in meeting with our clients to help determine the appropriate portfolio guidelines for their broader financial plan.
Early in his career, Garcia earned the distinguished industry designation of Certified Financial Planner. The designation required him to satisfy rigorous professional standards including a three year professional apprenticeship, and has sworn to adhere to the principles of integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism and diligence, when working with clients.
Prior to joining Campbell Wealth Management, Garcia spent four years as a Financial Planner with Guardian Disability Insurance Brokerage, one of the top insurance brokerages in the country. At Guardian, he helped professionals attain specialty specific owner-occupation disability insurance.
Garcia earned his Bachelor’s Degree in financial planning from Virginia Polytechnic University. He currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland, but is looking forward to shortening his commute by relocating to Virginia.
Aleta comes to Campbell Wealth with 25+ years of experience in the financial services industry. Early in her career, she earned her MBA in Finance and achieved multiple professional licenses.
In her role as Client Services Specialist, Mellon manages a variety of responsibilities, including: preparations for client review meetings, assisting clients with their questions and concerns, and supporting the CWM team in maintaining and enhancing client relationships.
She has documented experience assisting clients in planning and reaching their financial goals. Aleta has held numerous positions during her retail banking career, notably, serving as a Financial Advisor with independent firms and multinational corporations. Mellon is committed to helping others understand the principles of financial management. She regularly presents educational seminars, teaches money management classes and offers her expertise in her volunteer work with churches and other non-profit organizations.
She has a passion for people and enjoys travelling around the world and experiencing other cultures. Aleta is a native of Virginia, but now resides in Maryland with her two sons, Matthew and Brenden, and their Schnauzer, Mylo.
Aleta benefits you by setting up and necessary preparations for client review meetings, answering questions, and supporting the CWM client service’s team by maintaining and enhancing client relationships.
Whitney has been in the financial industry for over 6 years. She started her career at Wachovia Bank as a teller. She quickly moved into roles such as account manager, Customer Service Associate, and supervisor at PNC Bank. During her retail banking career, she excelled in every aspect of her job and was instrumental in training and mentoring her colleagues.
She loves being a transition administrator because it allows her to learn new tools necessary for financial planning. Whitney plans to one day use her excellent communication skills, client service, and financial experience in banking to one day transition into the best financial advisor she can be. “I have the best group of colleagues yet, to help me walk proudly into this next phase of my career!”
Whitney enjoys traveling, shopping and the performing arts.
As a member of the client services team, Whitney is responsible for assisting clients with any paperwork procedures, new account implementation and processing. Whitney also assists clients with any operational issues including but not limited to online access, account documentation, and distributions. Whitney enjoys building relationships with clients when they call the office, at an event, or when they come to the office for a review meeting.
Amy is a new addition to the Transition Team. She’s joins CWM after working in the compliance department of another financial planning firm, where she assisted in updating compliance procedures and documentation. Amy directs the handling and processing of all the required transition paperwork, making the on boarding as seamless as possible. Amy has a great experience and strives to provide a superior client experience.
Amy earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Arizona in 2005. Originally from Arizona, she relocated to Virginia several years ago, where she enjoys the change of seasons and the DC landscape.
Amy directs the handling and processing of all the required transition paperwork, making the on boarding as seamless as possible.
Kimberly earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI, with a focus on Communications, Meetings and Event Management. She entered the financial services world as a teller for Bank of America; a position she held while completing her education. She recently relocated from Boston, MA, to begin a new phase of her career and professional growth, and joins Campbell Wealth Management to enhance our education and outreach programs.
Kimberly plans and manages Client Appreciation Events and Educational Seminars. She is also developing a speakers bureau to raise awareness about the importance of retirement planning.
